Internet Marketing Cruise for Cops

Have you ever wanted to start your own business on the internet.  Maybe you’re tired of working off-duty security gigs and want to work from home any time you want.  Consider joining me on an 8 day Caribbean Cruise to learn about doing business on the internet and talk to your accountant about whether it is an acceptable business tax deduction for you.

Hi, this is John Marx the editor of CopsAlive.com and when I wanted to start this blog site I set out to learn everything I could about doing business on the internet.  I was talking with Jay Jennings, a software developer and internet entrepreneur who I had purchased software from and he invited me on a Caribbean Cruise in January of 2008.  It was an amazing trip.  Not only did we spend eight days and seven nights on a beautiful Carnival Cruiselines ship but we also visited Puerto Rico, St. Thomas USVI, Antigua, Tortola and the Nassau in the Bahamas.  What’s more we were part of a group of over 125 internet marketers from 7 countries.  While the ship was at sea we spent time together in various facilitated learning sessions exchanging ideas and learning from one another.  It was very helpful and before we left the ship we put down a deposit to do it again in January of 2009.  Just so that you don’t mistake this, I am going again on this trip whether you join me or not.  However, I’m not stupid, and if I get enough of you to join me, my trip is free.  Either way I’ll be there again with what the organizers are hoping are over 500 people who what to grow or build an internet business.  Next year’s itinary includes four days at sea and stops in St. Maarten, St. Kitts and St. Lucia.  To learn more visit our sister web site www.CopsAliveCruises.com.

Before you get the wrong idea.  NO ONE tried to sell me anything and I won’t do that to you either.  If you join our CopsAlive group you will be with other cops in our group but you will have full access to the larger group who are from all walks of life and all sorts of businesses.  The advantage o being part of the large group is the buying power of our sized group and the knowledge of our travel agent Capt. Lou Edwards who can also teach you how to organize these cruise meetings (If you check out the site you will notice that one group is organizing a Murder Mystery Cruise as one of the sub-groups in the larger internet marketer group).  The larger group holds learning sessions each day while we are at sea, we will also meet as a smaller group of just cops.  You can attend and learn or you can work on your tan on-deck.  It’s your trip.

On this years cruise I met another police officer who is retired from London’s Metropolitan Police force and he was also building an internet business.  We also met a group of retired cops from Topeka Kansas who were just taking a vacation with their wives.  As a professional group, we as cops are everywhere and we need to band together to improve our own lives while working smarter to protect and serve our communities.

If you want to have fun while you are working and building a stronger financial future, join me in January of 2009!

About Editor

John Marx was a Police Officer for twenty-three years and served as a Hostage Negotiator for nineteen of those years. He worked as a patrol officer, media liaison officer, crime prevention officer and burglary detective. Also during his career he served as administrator of his city's Community Oriented Governance initiative through the police department's Community Policing project. Today John combines his skills to consult with businesses about improving both their security and their customer service programs. John retired from law enforcement in 2002. When one of his friends, also a former police officer, committed suicide at age 38, John was devastated and began researching the problems that stress creates for police officers. He decided he needed to do something to help change those problems and he wanted to give something back to the profession that gave him so much. He started a project that has evolved into CopsAlive.com. Put simply, the mission of CopsAlive is to save the lives of those who save lives! CopsAlive.com gathers information, strategies and tools to help law enforcement professionals plan for happy, healthy and successful careers, relationships and lives.
